We aim to teach you the techniques of landscape photography while you are on holiday in this beautiful part of Dorset. Although this is a photographic course the emphasis is very much on you enjoying yourself and treating it like a holiday, learning at your own pace. The courses are mainly attended by individuals, there is a mix of people of all ages with varying degrees of photographic ability. There is time allocated to digital manipulation techniques. Whether you are a beginner, studying for City & Guilds and wanting guidance or just wishing to improve your techniques we offer a photographic course which gives you the opportunity to spend your time learning in a practical way with a high level of one to one tuition.

The emphasis of the course is based on a practical approach with the day spent out in the countryside - there is very little classroom style study. Each day we will visit various locations with a stop for lunch. In order that we can visit the best locations it will be necessary to undertake short walks, the walking is taken at a leisurely pace with numerous stops to allow you to take photographs and for your guide to highlight learning points.


During the course there will also be the opportunity to view your images on our computers. With digital manipulation becoming essential in the photographic process there will also be time to discuss and try out photoshop techniques to enhance your digital pictures.
